Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to our website. Whether you are an existing family or visiting us for the first time, I hope this site gives you a clear sense of what makes Mayflower School such a vibrant, welcoming place to learn and grow.

Having been part of the Mayflower community for 18 years—including over a decade as Deputy Headteacher—it is an absolute privilege to now lead our school as Headteacher. Having served this community for so long, I know first hand the incredible potential of our pupils, the dedication of our staff, and the strength of our partnership with families. Our school takes its name from The Mayflower, the famous ship that carried early pioneers on a historic journey. That pioneering spirit continues to inspire everything we do as we strive for excellence. We are constantly searching for innovative ways to make learning exciting, so that every pupil enjoys the sense of adventure that education brings and discovers how learning changes lives.

As our pupils 'Set Sail for Success', my commitment is to build on our strong foundation and ensure Mayflower remains an ambitious, safe, and joyful environment where every child is empowered to thrive.

I look forward to continuing our journey together.

Adam Stock, Headteacher
