Set sail for success

Times of the School Day

For our school to run smoothly we need everyone to be excellent timekeepers.

8.00 – 8.40 Breakfast club is free to families and provides children with a calm, healthy start to the day. We invite staff to contribute towards the cost of breakfast.
8.45 – 9.00 Children will arrive through 3 gates, EYS use Trinity Gardens, KS1 use Annabel Close and KS2 use Upper North street.
9.00 Registration must be completed at 9.00 am. and as soon as you return after lunch. This is done online using RM Integris. Children arriving late are signed in and registered at the office.
KS1 10.00 – 10.20
LKS2 10.30 – 10:50
UKS2 11.00 – 11.20
Playtimes - Teaching teams lead children into the playground and wait until the adults on duty arrive. The teaching team, collect children at the end of each playtime. Adults on duty please make sure you are out promptly.
11.15 – 12.15 Lunch for Kapoor Class
11.15 – 12.15 Lunch for Hepworth and Klee Classes
11.40 Morning Kapoor class go home leaving through the gate leading into Trinity Gardens.
11.30 – 12.15 Lunch for KS1 (All Classes go straight to the lunch hall)
12.15 – 1.00 Lunchtime starts for LKS2 (All Classes go straight to the lunch hall)
12.30 Afternoon Kapoor class arrive
1.00 – 1.45 Lunchtime starts for UKS2 (All Classes go straight to the lunch hall)
12.15 School afternoon session starts for KS1. Teachers collect children from the playground at the end of lunchtime.
12.15 School afternoon session starts for Reception classes.
1.00 School afternoon session starts for LKS2. Teaching teams collect children from the playground at the end of lunchtime.
1.45 1.45 School afternoon session starts for UKS2. Teaching teams collect children from the playground at the end of lunchtime.
Playtimes
1.50 – 2.15 KS1
Teaching teams take children into the playground and waits until an adult on duty arrives. Teaching teams collect children at the end of each playtime. Adults on duty please make sure you are out on time.
Home time KS1
3.15 Year 1
3.15 Year 2
End of the school day for KS1 staff to take children to the small playground for 3.15 Parents collect from Annabel Close gate. All children wave/thumbs up to staff as their parents are seen. Parents collecting other children must walk around the perimeter of the school.
Home time LKS2
3.15 Year 3 & 4
End of the day for LKS2 staff take classes to the big playground. Parents collect from Upper North Street. All children wave/thumbs up to staff as their parents are seen.
Home Time UKS2
3.20 Year 5 & 6
End of the day for UKS2 staff take classes to the big playground. Parents collect from Upper North Street. All children wave/thumbs up to staff as their parents are seen. Y5 & Y6 children can go home alone if parents have given permission (ask the office if unsure)
Home time EYS
3.15 Reception
3.25 Nursery
End of the school day for EYS Parents collect Reception and Nursery children from the Trinity Gardens gate. Parents go to the classroom door to collect their children.
