Directions to Mayflower

Directions to Mayflower

We do not have any car parking facilities for staff or visitors.

Mayflower is a three storey brick building, situated on the corner of Upper North Street and Grundy Street. Our main entrance is on Upper North Street, opposite St Mary & Joseph’s Catholic Church.

By Bus

  • 15, 115 & D6 – get off at the cross roads of East India Dock Road with Upper North Street. We are one minute walk from here the church ( You can get the D6 from Mile End underground Station)
  • 309 - get off at Cordelia Street by the adventure playground, walk west along to end of Cordelia Street, turn left into Upper North Street and we are two junctions down on the left hand side.

By DLR

  • Poplar Station – there is only one exit from the station – walk up the path (Tower Hamlets College will be on the right hand side) the road in front of you is Poplar High St. Turn left into Poplar High street and walk to the end of the street. Turn right into Saltwell Street until you come to the cross roads at East India Dock Road. Cross at the traffic lights into Upper North Street. We are on the right hand side. (9 minute walk)
  • Langdon Park Station- walk over the footbridge turn left into Chrisp Street, through Chrisp Street Market. Walk straight ahead past the Post Office and along Grundy Street. Mayflower is at the end of Grundy Street; turn left into Upper North Street until you come to the main entrance. (10 minute walk)

We have a ramp outside the school reception and a lift is available for wheelchair access.
