We love the arts here at Mayflower and this week year one had the chance to visit an exhibition at the Chisenhale Gallery. The paintings we saw were by a artist called Caragh Thuring who was inspired by London for her exhibition. The children had some great ideas about what they could see in the painting and noticed lots of familiar shapes and objects. They also had the chance to think of questions they had for the artist about her paintings. We are looking forward to her replies!
